Access & Posting Messages

Who has access?

By default all active staff, board members and trustees who have an AFS single sign on account have access to the In Box in AFS Global. This group of users id defined by their inclusion in the Directory as active stakeholders.


If you would like to give a new board member, trustee or staff member access to the In Box, simply create them as a person in the AFS Directory and assign them an affiliation and a Single Sign-On username and password so that they can sign into AFS systems. Creating a post

To create a post in the In Box, once in the site, click on the green button titled "New Message" in the top right hand corner of the screen.


Once this page has opened, you will see a list of options and a rich text editor at the bottom of the screen. Fill in the options listed depending on who visible you would like the post to be, what category it falls into, if it is a key document and if it is to be published or saved as a draft to be published later.

Note: Please do not mark your announcement as a key document unless it hold important information for the network.


Once you have added the relevant information to this form, write the body of your message in the rich text editor, attach any relevant files and click the button titled "Create Message" at the bottom of the page.


Your post should now be added to the In Box.
