During these holiday seasons, you may want to send out e-cards to thousands of recipients via e-mail.  Please help us save our Internet traffic and mailbox space by simply uploading those images to your organization website or Facebook (or even uploading video to Youtube), and then link it to your e-mail that you send out.

In this tutorial, you will find how to upload a photo as well as how to insert them into your e-mail via Google Apps.

1. Pick where to upload your photo.  In this example, we are using a simple image from a Facebook, this should be fairly simple.  Select any images you already uploaded to Facebook.   You may want to make sure that the image is copyrights free to avoid misuse of any intellectual rights.  Select the image you want to copy, right click and select  Copy Image URL.  This will copy into your clipboard.

2. Now, switch back to your Google Apps Mail interface.  Select COMPOSE a new message.  Then, select the Image icon as highlighted below.

3. Change the  Web address (URL)  as below.  Paste the URL value from the above step.  then click OK.

Once you click OK, the image will be inserted into the content of the email as image link.  The actual image is not being sent in the email content, but only the pointer back to facebook website..
