Should you need to create a new Support Request, please login to https://www.afsglobal.org/itservices using your AFS Global login credentials. IT Team will eventually close down Lotus Notes version and migrate to this Web Version very soon.

In some rare cases that you may have used G as selection criteria or search condition in your Crystal Reports, you may need to modify your Crystal Report file as procedures below.
After the changes from G to A starting October 3rd, 2012, please modify your report file via Select Expert as screen shot below.
If you have included PLACEMENT_STATUS_CODE from SV_PLACEMENT table, you might want to check or verify the display condition. This should be displayed as A (Accepted) instead of G (Guaranteed).
To modify the Select Expert, simply change the field selection criteria accordingly.

Google Mail enable you to setup Email Delegation so that your direct supervisor or team member to have access to your mailbox. This is generally good in case of shared mailbox or temporarily during vacation.

In case you need to be away on leave or vacation, you may want temporarily setup email forward to your boss, or other member in the office. Please follow this simple guide on how to create Forwarding.
This instruction also works with forwarding to your personal email accounts for Board members or Volunteers as well.
Attention: Please do not forget to remove your forwarding when you want to stop the forwarding.

IT Team has created a web site https://www.afsglobal.org/itservices as a place to log and track IT Service Requests. Please logon to https://www.afsglobal.org/itservices using your AFS Global access and password. IT team will follow up IT Requests from this website primarily.
For those who are still using Lotus Notes, you may continue to create cases there, IT Team will eventually transfer/migrate all contents to this web version soon.

The Gmail Notifier allows Google Apps users to set their online Gmail page as their default mail client. This means that if you click an email button anywhere your web browser will launch, you will be signed into Google Apps and a new blank pre addressed email will be open. This is a very useful feature for Google Apps users which the IT Team strongly advises Partners to use, especially when working with the new online Directory.
Beyond this core feature is also gives you quick links to many common tasks from the desktop as well as your most recent mail, up-and-coming meetings and announcements

Google has now added its email delegation features to the Educational version of Google Apps which AFS uses. This is an extremely usful addition to the suit of tools, with Partner staff now able to view the inbox and send email of other colleagues on their behalf. For a explanation of how to set this feature up, please see the video below.
